Thought: Thank you for attending your students Spring SEP. It was nice to visit with you and I appreciate your support. We really do have a wonderful class! Keep up the great work!!

March 10th- February Reading Calendars, Middle School Registration and Science Fair Registration Papers Due
March 11th- Extra Credit Packets sent home due 3/18/14
March 12th- Early Out 1:30 pm
March 19th- End of Third Term- Spring Pictures
March 17th- Mystery Book Report Due
March 27th- Science Fair

Common Core Update:
 Math- Chp.7 Multiplying Fractions Test Moving into Chp.8- Dividing Whole Numbers by Fractions Math Tutoring is available schoolwide afterschool M,T,W and F from 3:30-4:00 –Library and on Wednesdays with the 4H Program.
Writing-  Practicing in the lab for our next Writing Test
Reading-Reading: Informational Text Standard 9 
Integrate information from several texts on the same topic in order to write or speak about the subject knowledgeably. Class Story-“Little by Little” and “Tangerine” Book Report Genre: Mystery packet sent home three weeks ago in an envelope. Book must be 150 pages long or your student can read two books totaling 150 pages. Due: March 17th
Science- We are now trading with Mr.Greenhalgh- Topic: Matter and Mr.Coates-Topic: Electricity ** Thinking Ahead- I require the Science Fair/Poster as a homework assignment in Science. Start thinking about a topic you would like to learn more about.  SCIENCE FAIR- March 27th
Spelling/Vocabulary- Lesson 4 words with the long o sound
