Common Core Update:
 Math- Testing in Chp.6 moving onto Chp.7 Mulitiplying Fractions   Tutoring is available schoolwide afterschool M,T,W and F from 3:30-4:00 -Library
Writing- I can honestly say that most of my class tried to do their BEST WORK on our Direct Writing Assessment-THANKS!
Reading-Reading: Informational Text Standard 9 
Integrate information from several texts on the same topic in order to write or speak about the subject knowledgeably.. Class Story-“Evelyn Cisneros” and “Tangerine” Book Report Genre: Mystery packet sent home two weeks ago in an envelope. Book must be 150 pages long or your student can read two books totaling 150 pages. Due: March 17th
Science- We are now trading with Mr.Greenhalgh- Topic: Matter and Mr.Coates-Topic: Electricity ** Thinking Ahead- I require the Science Fair/Poster as a homework assignment in Science. Start thinking about a topic you would like to learn more about.  SCIENCE FAIR- March 27th
Spelling/Vocabulary- Words with the long a- Good Luck this week to Reid, Leilani and Shelby in our school Spelling Bee!! Our class will be your loudest cheerleaders! Good Luck!

Common Core Update:
Math- I sent home a Parent Key for Chp.5 to help you with your students math homework. Please take time to check their work.
We are now moving into Chp.6 with Fractions
 Math Tutoring is available schoolwide afterschool M, T, Th and Friday from 3:30-4:00 from Mr.Jenkins.
