Common Core Update:

Math- Chp.4 Review and moving into Chp.5 Dividing Decimals Math Tutoring is available schoolwide afterschool M, T, Th and Friday from 3:30-4:00 from Mr.Jenkins.
Writing-  5 Paragraph Essay - Please practice keyboarding skills
Reading-Reading: Informational Text Standard 3 
Explain the relationships or interactions between two or more individuals, events, ideas, or concepts in a historical, scientific, or technical text based on specific information in the text.. Class Story-“ Hattie’s Birthday Box”  
I have assigned and sent home our Historical Fiction Book Report Packet now due Jan.24th Please make sure your student is reading a book they haven’t read beforeJ
Science- Science Benchmark- Magnets
Earth and some earth materials have magnetic properties. Without touching them, a magnet attracts things made of iron and either pushes or pulls on other magnets.
Social Studies- The United States Grows
Spelling/Vocabulary- Lesson 16-suffixes –able/-less
