Upcoming Dates:
Dec.4th- Early Out
Dec.6th- 5th Grade Multiplication BBQ
Jan. 7th- Historical Fiction Book Report Packet Due

Common Core Update:

Math- Chp.3- Test Moving into Chp.4- Multiplying Decimals
Math Tutoring is available schoolwide afterschool M, T, Th and Friday from 3:30-4:00 from Mr.Jenkins.

Reading-Reading: Literature Standard 10 
By the end of the year, read and comprehend literature, including stories, dramas, and poetry, at the high end of the grades 4–5 text complexity band independently and proficiently. Continue to develop fluency when reading documents written in cursive.
Class Story- “Summer of Fire”   **November Reading Calendar Due
I have assigned and sent home our Historical Fiction Book Report Packet due Jan.7th
Science- Beginning our Unit on Magnets

Social Studies- The United States Grows

 Spelling/Vocabulary- Lesson 14 –words with –ant and -ent
