This is our last newsletter of the year. I’ve had a wonderful year teaching each of your children. I am sad to say good-bye! Have a wonderful summer!!

              (5th grade will be singing and recognized for Graduating)

Core Update -
             I will be sending home an END OF YEAR PRINT OUT with important information to read over with your student concerning each area of the State of Utah Core Curriculum this year.  Please encourage your student to keep reading and learning over the summer.  I would also make sure you are getting updates about Middle School.  Thank you for your support.

NOTE FROM CEDAR MIDDLE SCHOOL...we will be handing out the 6th grade schedules this Wednesday from 2 - 4 pm in the conference room across from the main office.  If they aren't able to come Wednesday, parents can pick them up Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday the week after school gets out. Whatever is not picked up at that point will be mailed home. The students are more than welcome to come, but the packets/schedule will only be given to parents.

May 16th- Walk-a-thon 9:30am/ Last Day to turn in library books
May 17th- Field Day- wear sunblock and bring water

Core Update
IT IS CRUCIAL THAT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS SCHOOL-WE ARE NOW TESTING:)  Please encourage your student to go to bed early and eat a good breakfast each day. Thanks for your support!
I have sent home the MAY UTIPS HOMEWORK INCENTIVE!! This is your students nightly homework if a computer is available in your home. I’ve extended the Banana Split reward to May 10th. UTIPS ARE A GREAT REVIEW AT HOME!!
