Thank you for all those who attended Back to School Night. We have had a fun couple of days getting to know one another. Please make sure all the forms required have been turned in.  We are also becoming familiar with our classroom rules and procedures. It looks like we will have a great year together.

Upcoming Dates:

Aug. 22^nd- Orchestra Assembly/Early Out

                School dismissed at 1:30p.m.

Aug.24^th- HOMEWORK DUE!! Spelling Test/Math Quiz

Core Update:

Math- Chp.1-Numeration-vocabulary: digits, value, standard form, expanded form, word form and equivalent decimals

Spelling- Lesson 1 words with short vowels Bonus words vocabulary

Science- Overview of topics

Social Studies- The First Americans

Reading- My Side of the Mountain

Language/Writing- Prefixes, Suffixes, Roots, Declarative and Interrogative sentences and Point of View

Year Schedule:

PE- Mon/Wed at 10:00           Music- Mon/Wed at 10:30

Computers- Thurs/Fri at 2:00

Library- Friday at 10:00
