Core Update:
Math- Chp. 18 Completing Reading Graphs and Data- Moving into Chp.14- Measurement, Units, Time and Temperature                Spelling- Lesson #19
Science-Electricity/Magnetism- The Science Fair will be optional for my class. I would like to encourage your student to participate. I will have an alternative assignment for those who chose not to apply. March 22nd  Science Fair
Reading- Literature Groups-We are working in small groups with different novels, comprehension questions and grammar skills. Class Story “Evelyn Cisneros- Ballerina”
Soc.Studies- Encourage your student to pass off facts in their Patriot Book. Time is going quickly.
Writing Direct Writing Assessment Test this Thursday. If you have time practice at home typing a persuasive essay.  Good Luck this week! I know you will do well. 5 paragraphs and a score of 30 is the requirement.

Core Update:

Thank you for those who attended the Multi-Cultural Night and Curriculum Night. It was nice to see all the amazing displays in the gym and visit with you.
