         I hope you all had a nice Labor Day Holiday with your family.  Mrs. Roper our student teacher is moving into her third week out of six weeks with our class.  She will be required to take over more responsibilities with teaching.  We are very lucky to have her and I think she is doing terrific.

Sept. 9th- Homework Due with Parent Signature

Core Update:

Math- Chp.2-Add/Subt. Whole Numbers and Decimals
Spelling- Lesson 10 Plurals     Science- Landforms
Reading- Class Story “ Island of the Blue Dolphins” working on Silent reading, Reading Language Assessment and Dibels Testing.
Social Studies- Christopher Columbus /The Spanish Explore America
