Upcoming Dates:

May 16th- State Reports Due/ Swim Day/Afterschool Math
May 18th- Middle School Tour/Discovery Park 9-12/Early Out
May 20th- Field Day- Wear sunblock, good shoes, water
                   bottle…-we will be outside for the majority of the
                   day.
May 23rd- Fieldtrip to Zion 9:00a.m
                   Parents going- Crawford, Garant’s, Hatch,
                   Stephens, Togisala and Pulisipher.
                   Chaperones- You are welcome to ride the bus with us or follow behind in your own car.  You will need to get on the bus with us when we enter the park if you don’t want to pay admission. Thank you for coming!
May 24th- Bike Rodeo
May 26th- School Movie
May 27th- Last Day of School Assembly

Utah Core Update:

We have completed End of Level Testing!!  Our class worked very hard to review and hopefully did their best.  My REWARD to the class this week-NO HOMEWORK!!!

Last week to pass off Patriot Award!!

We will be passing off State Reports this week and completing review in math, spelling, writing, science, reading and social studies.

Thank you for coming to support your student at the Maturation Program and encouraging 100% attendance during our End Of Level Testing.  Remind your student to get plenty of rest and eat a good breakfast this week!

Social Studies- The Great Depression and WWII** This will be the last week to pass
                    off anything from your Patriot Award Book.
Writing- STATE REPORT DUE MAY 16th-Monday  Notice attached papers

WAY TO GO CLASS!!..for your performance in our 5th Grade Flag Ceremony.  I’m proud of all of you.

May 6th- Maturation Program 2:00 p.m. Your student is allowed to go home with you afterwards if you would like.

         I can’t believe we are in the last month of school! I’ve really enjoyed getting to know each of your children. I will sure miss them! Please encourage 100% attendance, eating a good breakfast and getting enough sleep the next two weeks.

         WANTED: Healthy Snack Donations:
Granola Bars, Cereal to put in baggies, drinks, fruit, veggies, any kind of fun snacks. Just send with your student this week.
